Women Artists: Four Centuries of Creativity

Art works on loan from The Reading Public Museum Collection March 18 Exhibition opens on March 18 during normal Museum hours (12pm – 5pm). This exhibition represents four centuries of art created by remarkable women who struggled against gender bias to take their places in history. Until the twentieth century, women were often had difficulty showing and selling their work. This exhibition will be on view until May 30

Offline & Onstage – Midland Festival Ballet

Midland Festival Ballet is pleased to present a night of new works and old favorites on Saturday, April 17th at 7:30pm. Featuring music from Mozart, Vivaldi, and Queen, this uplifting production will show you a side of ballet you’ve never seen before. The production spans the genre from classical to contemporary and features new works by choreographers Maisha Morris, Pearl Wamsley, and Alyce Keaggy Brinkmann. The MFB Company will be accompanied by the Midland-Odessa Symphony & Chorale at the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center. Variations on a Theme of Argyle Back by popular demand this lighthearted take on classical ballet by Rob Davidson features fast footwork, traditional music by Mozart, and surprises at every turn.
