SUMMARY:Art Tales: The Princess and the Pea
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Ellen Noël Art Museum for a delightful event tailored for art-loving preschoolers aged 3-5 and their grown-ups. At 1:00 PM\, we invite you to immerse yourselves in a beautifully illustrated story and a fun art activity. This free event offers an engaging children’s story followed by a hands-on art project related to the tale. \nOur featured book for this session is The Princess and the Pea by Hans Christian Andersen. Young attendees will be entertained by the charming story of a young princess who is challenged before she marries a prince. After the story\, children will participate in an art activity inspired by the adventures. It’s a wonderful opportunity to foster a love of reading and creativity in young children while spending quality time together. We look forward to welcoming you and your little artists to the museum for this fun and inspiring event!

SUMMARY:Summer Camp – Shaping a City: Urban Planning
DESCRIPTION:Date: \nJuly 14-18\, 2025\, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.\nPrice:\nYouth $400\nMember $360 \nThis camp is recommended for ages 12-16. \nWhat does a community need to be healthy\, safe\, and beautiful? In the 1930’s\, Frank Lloyd Wright tried to answer those questions and planned a community called Broadacre City. Using Wright’s work as inspiration\, campers will work together to create their own planned city. They will create an architectural model of a commercial\, residential\, or industrial building in their imaginary community.   Daily lunch is included in this camp.   \nAt the conclusion of the week\, families and friends will be invited to Taliesin West to see a showcase of the campers’ work!
