DESCRIPTION:Lucinda Williams and her band and Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs live for an evening of hits and singalongs. \nLucinda Williams’ music has gotten her through her darkest days. It’s been that way since growing up amid family chaos in the Deep South\, as she recounts in her candid new memoir\, Don’t Tell Anybody the Secrets I told You. Over the past two years\, it’s been the force driving her recovery from a debilitating stroke she suffered on November 17\, 2020\, at age 67. Her masterful\, multi-Grammy-winning songwriting has never deserted her. To wit\, her stunning\, sixteenth studio album\, Stories from a Rock n Roll Heart\, brims over with some of the best work of her career. And though Williams can no longer play her beloved guitar – a constant companion since age 12 – her distinctive vocals sound better than ever. \nMike Campbell was a member\, architect and co-captain of the Heartbreakers\, a band he co-founded with Tom Petty\, whom he met in a Gainesville\, Florida carport in 1972. The Heartbreakers lead guitarist\, Campbell co-wrote many of the Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers hits and also co-produced many of their albums – in addition to penning songs for Don Henley (“Boys of Summer”)\, Bob Dylan\, Stevie Nicks and playing on records by Aretha Franklin\, Roy Orbison and Johnny Cash. \nIn 2018\, Campbell joined Fleetwood Mac’s World Tour on lead guitar and in 2020\, Campbell released Wreckless Abandon\, the first album by The Dirty Knobs\, a group that was Campbell’s longtime side project but is now his primary musical focus. They released their second LP External Combustion in 2022 and toured the USA\, including runs opening for both Chris Stapleton and The Who. \nMike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs’ new album Vagabonds\, Virgins & Misfits is out now on BMG featuring appearances from artists including Graham Nash\, Lucinda Williams\, Chris Stapleton and fellow Heartbreaker Benmont Tench. \nIn addition to Campbell\, The Dirty Knobs features fellow Heartbreaker Steve Ferrone on drums\, Chris Holt (Don Henley) on guitar and Lance Morrison (Don Henley) on bass. \n

SUMMARY:Danny Wells - Straight From Me To You
DESCRIPTION:Multi-award-winning hit songwriter and artist\, Danny Wells was born and raised in Roanoke Rapids\, NC. Music was an integral part of his life for as long as he can remember. He grew up singing in church\, began taking piano lessons in 2nd grade\, was writing his first songs shortly thereafter\, and eventually\, became a performing member of the Christian music group\, New Beginning. Music was in his blood. \nUpon graduating high school\, Wells attended Southwestern College in Oklahoma City where he received his A.A. degree. In 1980\, the North Carolina native decided to make the move to Music City where he attended and graduated from Belmont University receiving a B.M. degree in Commercial Music – all while continuing to perform and write. \nFast forward fifteen years of honing his craft and working in the business\, Wells’ first cut came in 1995. He is recognized for the #1 HITS\, “Check Yes or No\,” recorded by George Strait\, “These Days\,” recorded by Rascal Flatts\, and “Couldn’t Last a Moment\,” by Collin Raye. Some of Wells’ other hits include “This Everyday Love\,” and “While You Loved Me\,” both recorded by Rascal Flatts\, Craig Morgan’s “Little Bit of Life\,” and “Hello L-O-V-E\,” a hit single for John Michael Montgomery. Wells has also had songs recorded by numerous other artists\, including Alabama\, Billy Ray Cyrus\, Chris Young\, Confederate Railroad\, Crystal Gayle\, High Valley\, James Bonamy\, JoDee Messina\, Joe Diffie\, Julie Roberts\, Kane Brown\, Sara Evans\, Scotty McCreery\, Tracy Byrd\, and Wade Hayes. \nWells’ songs have exceeded over 15 million radio airplays worldwide according to BMI with RIAA-certified sales in excess of over 30 million records sold. DESCRIPTION:Commemorating 40 years of recording and releasing music\, Stryper continues to churn out rock-solid albums and pulsating live performances. The hardworking group shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.\n\n Following on the heels of their successful studio project The Final Battle (Frontiers Music Srl)\, the definitive foursome released their first-ever acoustic album Acousticyzed on February 16\, 2024. The double-disc set features an audio CD and DVD/Blu-ray video recorded and filmed at SpiritHouse Studios in western Massachusetts.\n\n The 11-track acoustic collection features stripped-down versions of Stryper’s classic songs – ranging from energized tracks “Loud & Clear” and “Soldiers Under Command” to power ballad “Honestly” – plus a never-before-released version of enduring hymn “Amazing Grace.” The video unveils an up-close look at band members performing the album live in the studio.\n\nFor a limited time this spring\, “To Hell with the Amps: The Unplugged Tour” will feature Stryper playing the entirety of the acoustic project during each performance.
