DESCRIPTION:Details \n\nThe SandHills Stock Show & Rodeo is set to return to the Ector County Coliseum from January 8 to 17\, 2026\, bringing together the best in professional rodeo action\, livestock shows\, and family entertainment. This year marks an impressive 93 years of livestock shows and 78 years of rodeo action\, continuing a proud tradition that began in the early 1930s. Serving as the official kickoff for the stock show circuit and the start of the pro-rodeo Texas swing\, a night at the SandHills Rodeo promises an experience filled with saluting the flag\, cheering for winning rides\, and getting up close to bone-jarring action. The 2026 rodeo will feature elite PRCA competition\, with top-ranked cowboys and cowgirls competing head-to-head in events such as bull riding\, barrel racing\, saddle bronc riding\, calf roping\, and more. New to the lineup this year is specialty act John Payne\, “The One Arm Bandit\,” whose world-renowned horse and herd performance has earned him 15 PRCA Rodeo Act of the Year titles. Returning is fan favorite\, Justin Rumford. As barrel man\, he will bring his energy and humor to the arena. A ten-time PRCA Clown of the Year and host of the popular RumpChat podcast\, Rumford continues to be a highlight for audiences nationwide. Joining him in the arena will be two of the sport’s most decorated bullfighters: Dusty Tuckness\, a 17-time Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (WNFR) bullfighter and ten-time PRCA Bullfighter of the Year\, and Nate Jestes\, a six-time WNFR bullfighter and nine-time PRCA Bullfighter of the Year Top 5 nominee. DESCRIPTION:DESCRIPTION \nTheatre Network of Texas\, Inc (TNT) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the theatres and artists of Texas and the communities they serve. TNT\, with the support of the the Jack K. Ayre and Frank Ayre Lee Theatre Foundation\, sponsors college internships to address the needs of theatres and students in the discipline of live theatre. \nGOAL \nThe goal of the program is to expose students to the theatre profession by: \n\nproviding firsthand experience working with and in theatres;\ngiving an overview of current issues in the profession;\nfacilitating job opportunities through contacts made in the Texas theatre community.\n\nELIGIBILITY\n \n\nMust have graduated  / completed high school course work and received high school diploma.\nCompleted Sophomore year of college after high school graduation. (Advanced placement and completion of college courses while still enrolled in high school does NOT qualify as completion.)\nMajoring in any aspect of theatre i.e. education\, administration\, etc.\nGraduate Students are eligible\nStudents of every race\, religion\, gender\, ethnic and economic background and sexual preference are eligible to apply.\nMust be a member of TNT at the Student ($20) level at the time of application\nMust be available to attend TEXFest in Odessa for interviews – March 11 – 15\, 2026\nMust be a resident of Texas or attend a Texas university with a Texas address\nMust have a drivers license and reliable transportation\nMust be available for orientation\, the internship and the debriefing from May 15\, 2026 – July 27\, 2026\n\nApplicants must submit all application attachments (Transcript\, Resumé\, Letter of Recommendation\, Essay) to be considered. \nPERIOD AND SITES OF INTERNSHIP\nTen weeks beginning with orientation – May 15\, 2026 and finishing with a debriefing on July 27\, 2026 both in Fort Worth\, Texas (THESE ARE IN PERSON AND NOT OPTIONAL.) Following orientation\, interns will have five week residencies at two different theatres culminating in a debriefing. Past interns have worked backstage and in administrative offices\, helped with summer theatre camps\, performed in shows\, constructed costumes\, etc. \n\nPLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A PERFORMANCE INTERNSHIP. \nCOMPENSATION\nSelected interns will receive $3\,000 for the ten weeks. Lodging will be provided by the host theatres during the residencies. SUMMARY:Kevin James:  Eat the Frog
DESCRIPTION:Kevin James began his career as a stand-up on the Long Island comedy scene. After being discovered at the 1996 Montreal Comedy Festival\, he signed a network development deal to create his own sitcom. \nThe King of Queens\, which premiered in 1998\, ran for nine seasons on CBS with James starring and executive producing\, and it garnered him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. The show concluded its run in 2007 but continues to air daily in syndication across the country and around the world. James also starred in\, and executive produced The Crew\, a Netflix sitcom set in the world of NASCAR. \nJames brought his stand-up act to TV with Sweat the Small Stuff\, a one-hour special for Comedy Central. Kevin James and Ray Romano executive produced and starred in the HBO Sports Special Making the Cut: The Road to Pebble Beach; a documentary about the Pebble Beach Pro Am Golf Tournament that was nominated for a Sports Emmy. His second comedy special Never Don’t Give Up premiered on Netflix to critical acclaim. \nJames made his feature film debut in Columbia Pictures’ Hitch starring opposite Will Smith\, and starred in\, produced and co-wrote the hit comedies Paul Blart: Mall Cop 1 & 2\, Zookeeper\, and Here Comes The Boom. James has starred alongside Adam Sandler in Pixels\, Grown Ups\, Grown Ups 2\, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry\, and Hubie Halloween. He starred in the features True Memoirs of an International Assassin and Home Team for Netflix\, as well as the independent action thriller Becky. \nJames can currently be seen in his one hour stand-up comedy special Kevin James: Irregardless on Prime Video\, which was nominated for 2024’s Best Comedy Special by the Critics Choice Awards. James will also be starring in the 2026 upcoming feature film “Solo Mio” alongside Nicole Grimaudo\, Jonathan Roumie\, and Kim Coates.
