The Marriage of Figaro

Get your tickets to see one of Mozart’s funniest operas, The Marriage of Figaro on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.  You will not want to miss this hilarious comedy centered around the wedding of Figaro (the old Count’s valet) and Susanna (the maid of the countess).  Come see the scheming, skirt-chasing, trick-playing antics that turn out “happily ever after” in the end.  Permian Basin Opera (formerly Midland Opera Theater) will present the Texas Tech University Music Theatre & Orchestra in this live, fully staged and orchestrated performance.  The opera will be sung in Italian with English supertitles projected above the stage.  Tickets are $5 for students with photo ID at the Wagner Noel Box Office, and $25 for adults either in person at the Box Office, by telephone at 1-800-514-3849, or online at  An adult/student combination ticket is also available for $30.
