Friday evening will fill the Wagner Performing Arts Center with sounds of local guitar programs in West Texas come to present their love for the instrument. From small to young at heart, these musicians get an opportunity to perform on the main stage. The programs range from after school programs in elementary, including private studios, to larger programs in middle school, High School and College.
The various levels in the Guitar programs from beginners to those with some years of experience. The programs demonstrate the different ways guitar is used in music either with chords, combining melody and bass lines, to more interactive musical ideas. These developing musicians present a variation of music from classical to popular music.
