Those funds will benefit our PreK-3 program\, which we have in partnership with the Ector County Independent School District\, youth sports scholarships\, and free community events held throughout the year\, including Healthy Kids Day. \nIn addition to the comedy show\, the Odessa Family YMCA will hold a silent auction with all proceeds going to our annual campaign. Current silent auction items include artwork from the Odessa Family YMCA Learning Centers\, Dallas Cowboys suite tickets\, Six Flag/Hurricane Harbor tickets and many more. We are accepting items for our silent auction. \nLucas Bohn has been seen on NBC’s “Bring the Funny” and CBS’ Coastal Comedy Live\, performing with comedy legends like Kevin Hart\, Jimmy Fallon and Dave Chappelle. DESCRIPTION:With a refreshed lineup and newfound energy\, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band\, featuring founding members Jeff Hanna (lead vocals\, guitar) and Jimmie Fadden (drums\, harmonica\, vocals); Bob Carpenter (keys\, vocals)—a member of the band since 1979; Jim Photoglo (bass\, vocals); Jaime Hanna (guitar\, vocals); and Ross Holmes (fiddle\, harmonica\, vocals); remains one of the most accomplished bands in American roots music. The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band played their first gig in 1966 in Southern California as a jug band and by 1969 had become a cornerstone of the burgeoning country-rock community. Their career breakthrough came in 1970 with the release of the record Uncle Charlie & His Dog Teddy and the single “Mr. Bojangles\,” a folksy Top 10 pop hit that brought folk music to the national forefront. DESCRIPTION:Neal McCoy has released fifteen studio albums. In 1993\, Neal McCoy broke through with the back-to-back number 1 singles No Doubt About It and Wink from his platinum-certified album No Doubt About It. His commercial success continued into the late 1990s with two more platinum albums and a gold album\, as well as six more Top Ten hits. A seventh Top Ten hit\, Billy’s Got His Beer Goggles On\, came in 2005 from his self-released That’s Life. \nA new studio album\, XII\, arrived in 2012 Co Produced by Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert. In 2013 he released Pride: A Tribute to Charley Pride\, Neal’s longtime friend and mentor. 2015 brought the Big Band Standards CD You Don’t Know Me. 2017 brought  Neal McCoy’s Favorite Hit’s. 10 Hits with 2 new songs. \nNeal has been on 17 USO Tours around the world and continues to say it’s one of the achievements he’s most proud of. In 2016 Neal has again made a move to continue his patriotic values by reciting the Pledge of Allegiance “Live” on his Facebook page every morning. Throughout Tierra’s history\, Rudy Salas has been\, and continues to be\, the leader of the band. \nTierra was the first Latino band to have four songs on the national chart and two simultaneously in the Top 100. They have performed in such prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall\, The American Music Awards\, and more. \nTierra is widely known to have played a role in opening doors for other Latino and non-Latino superstars of today\, including comedian Paul Rodriguez\, Arsenio Hall\, Sheila E\, Gloria Estefan\, Los Lobos\, and more. \nMalo is known if its blend of Latino\, Rock\, Jazz and blues. The 2001 album launched the career of the band to mainstream success with huge singles including “Crawling In The Dark”\, “Running Away” and “Remember Me” – all of which have since been certified RIAA platinum. \nThe Riverside\, California based Alternative-Rock band Alien Ant Farm formed in 1996 with the line-up of frontman singer songwriter Dryden Mitchell\, guitarist Terry Corso\, bassist Tye Zamora and drummer Mike Cosgrove. Their strange moniker arose from Corso’s concept of humanity being watched by aliens like a child watching his ant farm. The quartet built up a strong following on the West Coast and eventually ventured into Europe where they were well-received on the festival scene.   \nKris Roe is the lead singer and guitarist of California punk band\, The Ataris. Signed by Joe Escalante with Kung Fu Records\, Kris and the band recorded the albums Anywhere But Here\, Let it Burn\, End is Forever\, Blue Skies-Broken Hearts and Next 12 Exits. Over the years since forming\, the band has changed members\, leaving Kris as the only original member. In 2003 the band signed with Columbia records and recorded ‘So Long Astoria’.

But to paraphrase an old saying\, you know it when you hear it. \nAnd you always hear it with the Wallflowers. For the past 30 years\, the Jakob Dylan-led act has stood as one of rock’s most dynamic and purposeful bands – a unit dedicated to and continually honing a sound that meshes timeless songwriting and storytelling with a hard-hitting and decidedly modern musical attack. That signature style has been present through the decades\, baked into the grooves of smash hits like 1996’s ​Bringing Down the Horse as well as more recent and exploratory fare like 2012’s ​Glad All Over.​ \nEven so\, in recent years\, Dylan – the Wallflowers’ founding singer\, songwriter and guitarist – has repeatedly stepped outside of his band\, first with a pair of more acoustic and rootsy records\, 2008’s ​Seeing Things and 2010’s ​Women + Country​\, and then with the 2018 film ​Echo in the Canyon and the accompanying soundtrack\, which saw him collaborate with a host of artists classic and contemporary\, from Neil Young and Eric Clapton to Beck and Fiona Apple.
