Hot Summer Nights Lineup Announced

HSN-blue Odessa Council for Arts & Humanities and Downtown Odessa, Inc. announce 2016 Hot Summer Nights lineup Odessa, TX – The Odessa Council for the Arts & Humanities, in conjunction with Downtown Odessa, Inc., is pleased to announce the lineup for the 2016 Hot Summer Nights concert season. June 3 - Beto & The Fairlanes June 10 - The Vinyl Stripes June 17 - West Texas Jazz Project June 24- Jumping Giants July 8 - Permian Playhouse Musical Theatre Review July 15 - Latino American July 22 - The Geezers July 29 - Lone Star Attitude August 5 - White Ghost Shivers Highlighting this year’s lineup is an appearance by Chihuahua artists, ‘Latino American,’ as part of the cultural exchange program spearheaded by OCA&H and the Instituto de Cultura del Municipo of Chihuahua. “We are so happy to be able to work with Chihuahua on cultural exchanges, and Latino American is a fantastic beginning to bringing artists from Chihuahua, and taking some of our artists over there,” said OCA&H Executive Director Randy Ham. In addition to the exceptional musical acts that have become the hallmark of this free outdoor concert series, this year will again see the addition of food trucks from the Midessa Mobile Food Vendors Association. The concerts will start at sundown and will be located in Noël Plaza, next to the Ector County Library. In the event of inclement weather, shows will be moved to Deaderick Auditorium at Odessa College.
