Power of the Purse
About the Event:
The event will feature eight rounds of BINGO with multiple opportunities to win a designer bag, raffle for a high-end designer bag, shopping from locally owned businesses, dinner and desserts, and more. As we enjoy a night of fun and games, United Way will honor the 2023 Women’s United recipient. 100% of the net proceeds from Power of the Purse go directly to United Way of Midland’s Innovative Grants.
The Power of Your Purse:
Every Fall, United Way of Midland opens grant applications to local nonprofits for one-time funding for new or expanded programs and projects that help improve the health, education, and self-sufficiency of Midlanders. Since 2013, United Way of Midland volunteers have awarded over $500,000 to help strengthen our community through projects such as:
- Winter Warm Kits for Thriving United
- Expansion of the Speech Therapy Program at Bynum School
- Funding after-school care through the YMCA of Midland

- Bush Convention Center (Exhibit Hall) – 105 N. Main St. | Midland, TX

- Due to alcohol consumption and Texas gambling laws, participants must be 21+

- Girl’s Night Out $100: Includes seating for 1, dinner + 2 drink tickets, 1 bingo card
- Girl’s Night Out Package $175: Includes seating for 2, dinner + 4 drink tickets, 2 bingo cards
