The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

November 7 @ 2:00 pm
$8 – $12

Permian High School Theatre invites the community to experience an extraordinary story and celebrate the talents of its student performers and production team as The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time takes the stage November 5 and 7 in the newly renovated Permian High School Auditorium.

Performances are Thursday, November 5, at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, November 7, at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available now at www.mojotheatre.org.

Based on the acclaimed novel by Mark Haddon and adapted for the stage by Simon Stephens, the play follows Christopher Boone, a brilliant and determined 15-year-old whose investigation into the mysterious death of a neighbor’s dog leads him on an unexpected journey. Along the way, he uncovers family secrets, confronts unfamiliar challenges, and discovers his own capacity for courage and independence.

Through inventive storytelling, movement, and theatrical design, the production invites audiences to experience the world from Christopher’s perspective. At its heart is a moving story about family, trust, understanding, and the determination to find one’s place in the world.

“Our students have invested tremendous time, talent, and heart into this production,” said Director Scott Windham.

From the actors onstage to the student technicians and crew working behind the scenes, this production reflects months of preparation, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. Each performance offers the community an opportunity to recognize that dedication and encourage the next generation of artists.

The show also marks an exciting milestone as the first theatrical production in Permian High School’s newly renovated auditorium. Mojo Theatre looks forward to welcoming families, alumni, neighbors, and theatre lovers into the updated space to share in this special moment for the program.

Community members are encouraged to purchase tickets, invite a friend, and help fill the auditorium in support of these hardworking students.
