Dinosaurs Land of Fire and Ice – Midland Public Library
Midland Library at the Plaza (Downtown) 301 W. Missouri Ave., Midland, TX, United StatesHumanitiesinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice™ exhibit transports families back to the Cretaceous Period (70-65 million years ago), allowing children and adults to explore dinosaur habitats and gain a deeper understanding how these fascinating animals lived. Children will go face-to-face with the prehistoric world and meet dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes. The exhibit, aimed for children aged 3 to 10, features interactive activities. Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice™ was created by Minnesota Children’s Museum. This project is made possible by a grant from the David B. Jones Foundation. Sponsored locally by The FMH Foundation, The Helen Greathouse Charitable Trust, Carnegie Circle, and The Midland County Public Library Foundation.

The annual event transforms downtown into a high-energy street festival celebrating live music, community, and shared experiences—all under the West Texas sky. With a career spanning more than 35 years, Travis Tritt remains one of country music’s most enduring performers.
