Your $15 ticket provides a simple meal — and helps fill the bowls of neighbors facing food insecurity. 26th Annual Empty Bowls – Benefiting the West Texas Food Bank 26th Annual Empty Bowls – Benefiting the West Texas Food Bank Join us for a cherished West Texas tradition as we celebrate the 26th Annual Empty Bowlsevent! This community-driven fundraiser brings together local artists, families, and neighbors to take a stand against hunger across our 19 counties. Guests will enjoy delicious soups prepared and served with love, and have the opportunity to purchase beautiful, handmade bowls crafted by talented community members. Each bowl is a reminder of the empty plates we are working to fill — and every dollar raised directly supports the West Texas Food Bank and the families we serve.     Come see the story you know and love told in a whole new way! With flying dancers, animated backdrops, live orchestra, and over 140 costumes, it’s sure to lift you out of your seat! This ballet was many "firsts" for Midland Festival Ballet, the most significant being it is the first full length ballet they created. Other exciting firsts included flying dancers and using digital projections as the backdrop. The result is a mesmerizing explosion of movement, light and color unlike anything MFB had performed before. All that paired with the drama of live orchestral accompaniment made this, without a doubt, the largest collaborative project MFB had ever undertaken. And West Texans were the first to see it at the premiere performance here at the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center in April 2022! Midland Festival Ballet is excited to bring it back. Accompanied by the West Texas Symphony.
