CHOOSE your Valentine's Day side + cheer on the dueling displays of fearless artistry from the Odessa College Visual and Performing Arts Department and our larger artistic community. The first Annual (Anti) Valentines Cabaret brings to life the energy and artistry of OC students, faculty, departments, and clubs … collaborating alongside our Odessa/Midland community to fill the Globe with exploration, creativity, and passion. The first 30 minutes of the night puts a focus on the Visual Arts with dueling exhibitions of paintings, photographs, and objects that adorn the Globe walls and theatre. Next, we take to the stage where musicians, singers, storytellers, poets, dancers and artists of all stripes share their playful and passionate perspective on this crazy ol' thing we call ... LOVE. CABARET NIGHT at The Globe Theatre is a time to share tastes of anything you’re passionate about: singing, dancing, poetry, storytelling, photography, film, clown-work, stand-up comedy, drama, culinary and horticulture … it’s all welcome! IF YOU’RE INTERESTED IN SHARING SOMETHING, please email aganz@odessa.edu with what you’d like to share, the estimated time you’d like, and any technical needs you’d like us to provide.
