Saturday, 17 July 2021, 6:00pm. The Ector Theatre , Odessa Chingo bling can be called a lot of things; A rapper, actor, producer, comedian, and social media phenomenon are just but a few of them. At the core of it all, you can call him an entertainer. Chingo bling found his calling when he started broadcasting on his college radio station. He loved the idea of speaking to large audiences and made it his mission to be heard and seen by as many people as possible. He also found a knack for creating music, so he focused his efforts on building a career in music and was signed to a major record label. With a now sizable street cred, he began to explore his comedic voice. He launched his YouTube page and created his social media presence as a way for him to showcase his unique Mexican-american humor. The New Teacher Welcome is our annual breakfast that welcomes more than 300 new teachers to the area each year. Join us as we welcome newly hired teachers to the Permian Basin and honor their commitment to educating our children in Odessa. Invited guests include principals, ECISD Superintendents and ECISD administrative staff. The movies are hosted throughout the summer months and attract hundreds of families to the parks each year to watch some of the best movies available. In 2019, Cam Bertrand became the youngest comic to win the 'Florida's Funniest' competition, beating out over 300 comics, previous winners include Daniel Tosh, Bert Kreischer, and JB Ball. In that same year, Cam also became the youngest comedian to record his own half hour comedy special with DryBar comedy, his special 'Sophisticated Ignorance' he has garnered over 70 million total views since its release. He has also worked with some of the biggest names in comedy today including: Joe Rogan, Andrew Schulz, Bert Kreischer, Pete Davidson, Hannibal Buress, Michael Che, Josh Blue, and Mike Epps.
