He is mainly known for his comedy shows; He has performed throughout the Mexican Republic, and throughout Latin America, even starting his own "World Tour" of his tour "Por la Anécdota" He has three specials: "Comedians of the world", "For the Anecdote" and "Welcome to the World" within Netflix. Odessa Arts will host a grant writing workshop for organizations interested in applying for 2023 Cultural Tourism grant, Mural Assistance Program, or Make Art Work grants. In order to be eligible for a grant, organizations must attend the workshop. Odessa Arts provides grants for programs and events that promote art and tourism in Ector County. Celebrated artist Heidi Pitre returns to Odessa with her exhibit of library card art. “A Permanent Record,” repurposes vintage library cards into unique artworks that celebrate the written word. Pitre’s work will be exhibited at the Ector County Library from September 6 - November 19, 2023. A special reception will be held for Pitre as well as new library Director Howard Marks on September 16th at 5:30pm on the first floor of the Ector County Library. Pitre will also hold a library card art workshop on Saturday, September 17th at 2pm at the Ector County Library. The reception and the workshop are free and open to the public.

Felipe Esparza is a comedian and actor, known for his stand-up specials, “They’re Not Gonna Laugh at You”, “Translate This”, and his latest dual-release on Netflix, “Bad Decisions/Malas Decisiones” (2 different performances in two languages), his recurring appearances on Netflix’s “Gentefied”, NBC’s “Superstore” and Adultswim’s “The Eric Andre Show”, as well as winning “Last Comic Standing” (2010), and his popular podcast called “What’s Up Fool?”. Felipe is also developing a sitcom along with actor Omar Chaparro, producer Eric Tannenbaum and 3Pas (Eugenio Derbez’ production company).
