Heidi Pitre – Vintage Library Card workshop

Celebrated artist Heidi Pitre returns to Odessa with her exhibit of library card art. “A Permanent Record,” repurposes vintage library cards into unique artworks that celebrate the written word. Pitre’s work will be exhibited at the Ector County Library from September 6 - November 19, 2023. A special reception will be held for Pitre as well as new library Director Howard Marks on September 16th at 5:30pm on the first floor of the Ector County Library. Pitre will also hold a library card art workshop on Saturday, September 17th at 2pm at the Ector County Library. The reception and the workshop are free and open to the public.

Learn from a member of the Odessa Fire and Rescue how to do a version of CPR that uses only your hands! This program will be held in the 3rd floor auditorium from 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM.
