We have gathered to grow as leaders within the Permian Basin for nearly two decades. This year we’re bringing you back to the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center for incredible speakers! Join Team Sewell for an inspiring day of learning and leadership with fantastic speakers. Follow Sewell Family of Companies on Facebook and Instagram to see who the 2024 speakers are! As always, 100% of ticket revenue will be donated back to a local charity. Here are a few things to help you plan for the show: Please Note Arrive On Time: Please arrive early to allow yourself time to park, go through bag check, and find your seat prior to 8:30 AM. Doors open at 7:30 AM. Clear Bag Policy: We have a clear bag policy. Our clear bag size limit is 12"x12"x6" and wallet size limit is 8"x5." Passive Program: Make Your Own Chess Set

**Ongoing monthly activity available at the Children’s circulation desk.** This month’s passive program is a fun adventure of wits and strategy – each chess move is a step towards exciting victories! Pick up supplies at the Children’s circulation desk to make your own chess set. Later in the month we will have a special Chess Class on April 22, 2024. Come to the basement activity room and learn to play chess with Chase Ross, the chess coach for Goddard JHS and Bunche Elementary School in Midland. Learn to move your pawns, the moves a knight can make, and how to checkmate your opponent.

Odessa YMCA Presents Giggle & Give with Lucas Bohn

The Odessa Family YMCA proudly presents our “Giggle & Give” comedy fundraiser sponsored by Sondra and Toby Eoff. The fundraiser will start at 7 p.m. (with doors opening at 6 p.m.) April 4 at The Ector Theatre, and it will feature comedian Lucas Bohn. The fundraiser will benefit our annual campaign for the Odessa Family YMCA. Those funds will benefit our PreK-3 program, which we have in partnership with the Ector County Independent School District, youth sports scholarships, and free community events held throughout the year, including Healthy Kids Day. In addition to the comedy show, the Odessa Family YMCA will hold a silent auction with all proceeds going to our annual campaign. Current silent auction items include artwork from the Odessa Family YMCA Learning Centers, Dallas Cowboys suite tickets, Six Flag/Hurricane Harbor tickets and many more. We are accepting items for our silent auction. Lucas Bohn has been seen on NBC’s “Bring the Funny” and CBS’ Coastal Comedy Live, performing with comedy legends like Kevin Hart, Jimmy Fallon and Dave Chappelle. Meet the Author: Rosie Talley

Originally from a small farming community in Southeastern Colorado, Rosie Talley resides in West Texas with her husband and daughter. Rosie is the author of Linus the Troll and Linus the Troll and the Isle of Huggles. Ever since childhood, Rosie has had a passion for storytelling.
