Exhibition by Nanibah Chacon, CURRENTS, showcases a body of work made around the study of water as abstract drawings and string installations.The work began with questioning the personal investment in water conservation movements and politics. For one month, Nanibah did several studies of water using ink and paper. The work examines the line as language to understand the simplest formations of water and movement, investing time to understand its nature and allowing that process to become a point of growth and personal transformation.

At 1:00 PM, we invite you to immerse yourselves in a beautifully illustrated story and a creative art activity. This free event promises an entertaining children's story followed by an engaging art activity that connects to the tale. Our featured book for this session is Tumford the Terrible by Nancy Tillman. Little ones will be captivated by Tumford’s mischievous adventures and then get the chance to express their creativity through a hands-on art project inspired by the story. It’s a wonderful opportunity to foster a love of art and storytelling in young children while spending quality time together. We look forward to seeing you and your little artists at the museum!
