• An Evening with Kevin Von Erich

    Kevin Von Erich was now for his athleticism and powerful wrestling style in the ring, and for being a protective big brother outside of it. Known as the Golden Warrior, he was a force to be reckoned with in his matches. Kevin, along with his father and brothers. was a key figure in the history of World Class Championship Wrestling, a promotion that was based n Dallas, Texas, and aired in markets across the US and Internationally. Alongside his family, helped build WCCW into one of the most popular wrestling promotions of the 1980s. Despite achieving great success in the ring, Kevin distanced himself from the ring after the deaths of his four brothers and father. The family was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009, a fitting tribute to the Von Erichs' incredible legacy in the sport of wrestling. Come and hear firs hand accounts of the life and legacy of the Von Erich family in this one-night event at the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center.

The first hour puts the focus on the Visual Arts with paintings, photographs, and objects that adorn the Globe walls and theatre. Beginning in our second hour we take to the stage to share Spooky stories, Spanish legends, and Shakespearean ghosts while musicians sing, play and enhance the Halloween atmosphere.
