Weatherford, Midland, TX, United StatesHumanitiesFOURTH OF JULY TOURS Tuesday, July 4 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Brown-Dorsey Home Enjoy a special Fourth of July experience - right out of 1900! Refreshments of lemonade, ice cream, and small Hershey candies will be on hand, as well as horseshoe and washer games for all to play. Tour the oldest home in Midland and see some period clothing. Tours are free (but we welcome donations to help support the upkeep of the home) and open to all. The Brown-Dorsey Home is located at 213 N. Weatherford.

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for the lawn concert.

At camp we include lessons from CCWTX staff, project based learning activities in STEM, physical activities, and more! This year, we are taking a field trip to Chevron's Midland campus for a day of fun! COA is the cornerstone fine art, fine craft event in the Permian Basin, and is the longest running downtown event in Midland, Texas. COA has a strong reputation locally, with community support year after year, and draws out of town visitors. The festival hosts local entertainers and performers, non-profit organizations, family-friendly activities, and special events throughout the weekend. On Friday evening, we hold a ticketed Premier Party showcasing our juried visual artists to sponsors and ticketed guests. On the following Saturday & Sunday, the festival opens to the general public.
