Join Museum Docents for an in-depth exploration of a single work of art. These 30-minute, interactive gallery talks spark connections and conversation about the featured object’s history, meaning, and relationship to other works in the collection. Featured in the exhibition The Collection: 1960  -  Now, Ruben Ochoa's Zoned Out in the 90045 depicts Ficus trees breaking through Los Angeles sidewalks. Join Docent Michelle Notricia as she examines this suite of six chromogenic prints, drawing parallels between nature’s resilience in overcoming human-made barriers and natural disasters and the perseverance of immigrant communities.
