    Introducing the next edition of The Curated Table, a dinner and fundraising series at the Museum! Paired with the exhibition Latinos on Wheels: Lowrides of Tejas, this special evening features a tequila-forward dining experience with a thoughtfully curated three-grouse gourmet meal, including expertly paired tequila tastings throughout the evening. Guests can explore the exhibition, enjoy music, and hear from featured tequila experts throughout the night. Individual tickets: $250 Table for 8 Guests: $3,000

    September's Night at the Museum is one you won't want to miss! On September 17, starting at 6 PM, join us to decorate your very own clay pot using bold shapes and vibrant colors inspired by Picasso! Night at the Museum is a Members-Only event held every third Thursday of the month, featuring something different each time, from hands-on art activities and gallery experiences to special programs, tours, and more.     Blakemore Planetarium at the Museum of the Southwest 1800 W Indiana Ave, Midland, TX, United States

    Join us for Sci-Friday in September featuring Gattaca, the sci-fi thriller starring Ethan Hawke, Uma Thurman, and Jude Law! Vincent Freeman has always fantasized about traveling into outer space, but is grounded by his status as a genetically inferior in-valid. He decides to fight his fate by purchasing the genes of Jerome Morrow, a laboratory-engineered valid. He assumes Jerome's DNA identity and joins the Gattaca space program, where he falls in love with Irene. An investigation into the death of a Gattaca officer complicates Vincent's plans. Doors open at 6:30pm and the movie begins at 7:00pm. Refreshments are provided. Cost: $10 for non-members and FREE for Museum members
