  • West Texas Symphony Chamber Chorale Auditions

    CHORALE AUDITIONS Chorale Director, Dr. Brad Light, is excited to grow and expand the membership in the West Texas Symphony Chamber Chorale. Membership is open to singers high school age and older. Auditions will take place in person by appointment. When & Where Tuesday, January 28 7:00 - 9:30PM West Texas Symphony Hall 3100 LaForce Blvd, Midland TX (near the airport) Overview Each audition will last about 10 minutes and consist of: 2.) SOLO - Bring a prepared solo. This can be any art song, folk song, or aria in any language. 3.) MUSIC READING - You will be asked to do a short exercise to demonstrate your comfort with music reading. 4.) VOCALIZE - You will be asked you to sing a few simple exercises in order to know your voice better. Placements will be announced by email, the following week.     From its formation in 2003, Ernie Haase has built Signature Sound not only into one of the most popular and beloved quartets in all of Gospel music but, with their theme-based shows, they have endeared their brand of infectious joy, suburb harmony and performances to a very broad worldwide audience.
