Born in Taft, Texas, and raised in Yanush, Oklahoma, LaRue’s passion for music began early. His journey led him to Stillwater, Oklahoma, where he became immersed in the vibrant Red Dirt music scene alongside influential artists like Jason Boland and Cody Canada.
