The Sounds of Silence Tribute journeys back in time to the 1970s Greenwich Folk Village Scene, to a timeless era of music when lyrics and melody meant something more. Award-winning musicians Steven Delopoulos and Johnny Phillips are known for their unique sound, energetic live shows, and introspective lyrics underscored by their remarkable musicianship. Their concert features the music of Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, John Denver, Cat Stevens, Don McLean, and more.
Join us for a night of SCARY CELEBRATION! The FEAR Festival brings to life the energy and artistry of OC students, faculty, departments, and clubs … collaborating alongside our Odessa/Midland community to fill the Globe with exploration, creativity, and passion. The first hour puts the focus on the Visual Arts with paintings, photographs, and objects that adorn the Globe walls and theatre. Beginning in our second hour we take to the stage to share Spooky stories, Spanish legends, and Shakespearean ghosts while musicians sing, play and enhance the Halloween atmosphere. We hope you join us for this FREE EVENT. ONE. NIGHT. ONLY. Doors open at 6pm. It promises to be the opportunity of a death-time!
The weekend kicks-off on Friday, October 27 at 7:00 pm with our annual homecoming parade around campus. Then we’ll welcome Texas country music star Aaron Watson to the Kirk field for a FREE community concert starting at 7:30 pm. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs to enjoy the show. There will be food trucks on site along with beer for sale. No outside food or drinks are allowed. After the concert, we’ll light a bonfire and have a fireworks show!Â

The Temptations, often referred to as American Music Royalty, are world-renowned superstars of entertainment, revered for their phenomenal catalog of music and prolific career. The group celebrated their 60th Anniversary through 2022. To mark this milestone, The Temptations released a brand-new album, Temptations 60, with nearly all-original songs in January of 2022. Dr. Otis Williams, the sole surviving, original member of The Temptations, turned 80 on October 30th of 2021.

He has released 7 singles to Texas Country Radio and all 7 songs have hit the #1 spot on the Texas Regional Radio Report as published by Billboard (a feat that has not been accomplished by any other artist in the charts history). To compliment his success at country radio he tours the USA playing over 125 shows per year. His newest album, "Keep Up With A Cowgirl" debuted Top 5 on iTunes Country Music Charts and received rave reviews with Taste of Country Music calling Byrnes: "one of the lone star state's most intriguing artists at the moment".
