Midland Festival Ballet is pleased to present a night of new works and old favorites on Saturday, April 17th at 7:30pm. Featuring music from Mozart, Vivaldi, and Queen, this uplifting production will show you a side of ballet you’ve never seen before. The production spans the genre from classical to contemporary and features new works by choreographers Maisha Morris, Pearl Wamsley, and Alyce Keaggy Brinkmann. The MFB Company will be accompanied by the Midland-Odessa Symphony & Chorale at the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center. Variations on a Theme of Argyle Back by popular demand this lighthearted take on classical ballet by Rob Davidson features fast footwork, traditional music by Mozart, and surprises at every turn. May 27 Artist Diane K. Browne shows her particular skills in capturing the human condition. Each drawing tells the story of people that she captures; this can be seen in each wrinkle, each line and shadow. Diane K. Browne won Best in Show in last years exhibition and as part of her award the Museum is honored in working with her in curating a solo show.
