Get ready for 3 days full of dance the likes of which our community has never experienced! 18 dance companies across 4 states, including Midland Festival Ballet will perform new works of various dance styles each night. March 9 The Emerging Concert: Often the most creative performance of the Festival, the Emerging Concert is comprised entirely of never-before-seen dances created by up-and-coming choreographers. Neil Armstrong's first steps on the Moon could only have been possible with the unprecedented leadership of John F. Kennedy and the following residents who saw his vision through. This exhibit showcases the Smithsonian Institution's traveling exhibition Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission along with historic items and artworks from the Presidential Archives' collection as well as items on loan from other institutions.

Ellen Noel Art Museum from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and cost is $20.00 April 2nd - Drawing. Tour the Thomas Hart Benton exhibit and try your hand at drawing a submarine. May 7th - Printmaking. Learn to create original prints using stamps and "gadgets". Register for studio classes that takes place on selected Sundays from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for students ages 6-12. Students can tour current exhibitions and do a related studio art project. $20.00 per class by advance registration only (by noon the previous Thursday). Class size is limited, so sign up now!
