At 1:00 PM, we invite you to immerse yourselves in a beautifully illustrated story and a fun art activity. This free event offers an engaging children's story followed by a hands-on art project related to the tale. Our featured book for this session is When I Am Big by Maria Dek. Young attendees will be entertained by a whimsical and imaginative counting book that encourages young children to dream big and explore the possibilities of growing up. After the story, children will participate in an art activity inspired by the adventures. It’s a wonderful opportunity to foster a love of reading and creativity in young children while spending quality time together. We look forward to welcoming you and your little artists to the museum for this fun and inspiring event!

Register for studio classes that take place on select Sundays from 2:30-4:30 for students ages 6-12. Students can tour current exhibitions and do a related studio art project. $20 per class by advance, online registration only (by noon the previous Thursday). Class size is limited, so sign up soon! Adventures in Art for Sensory Artists is a studio-style art program designed for young artists who benefit from a calm, sensory-friendly environment. Each session offers a supportive space where participants can explore materials, learn new techniques, and create art at their own pace.
