This in-person gathering will take place at the Ector County Library and Midland County Library, where instructor Caleb Mendes and aspiring artists will come together to explore the wonderful world of comic creation. Get ready to unleash your creativity as we dive into the art of crafting captivating comics. This course aims to inspire and guide participants through the process of developing their own unique comic strips. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting out, this event offers something for everyone. During this interactive course, you'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced comic creators, exchange ideas with fellow participants, and gain valuable insights into the comic industry. We'll cover various aspects of comic creation, including character development, storytelling techniques, panel layouts, and more. January 20 (Ector County Library): Simple figure drawing.     Meet the Author of The Cloak Society trilogy and Space Runners: The Moon Platoon, Jeramey Kraatz. Mr. Kraatz will be at the Ector County Library on the first floor from 5 pm until 6:30 pm. Mr. Kraatz will be signing copies of The Cloak Society, the first book in the trilogy.
