1 event,B. Shawn Cox, originally from Monahans, Texas, veered away from a ranching lifestyle to pursue degrees in Architecture and Law. Following various business ventures and detours, he now finds himself driven by a compelling urge to create. His current artistic endeavors involve revisiting and reflecting upon memories, perceptions, and understandings-some real, some imagined, often twisted. Through this exploration of both internal and external narratives, Cox aims to visually express the motivations and gain insights into the world and his place within it. Ellen Noël Art Museum is temporarily housed in the UTPB Presidential Archives, located at 4919 E. University Blvd. Odessa, TX 79762.
