1st Annual BCCPB MLK Chili Cook-Off Greetings To ensure a fair and smooth competition, please review the official cook-off rules below: • All chili entries must consist of meat or Impossible™ meat (vegetarian substitute). • No beans, corn, or green bean–type vegetables are allowed in any chili entries. • Chili may be hot, mild, or extra mild for judging. • All chili entries must be fully prepared and placed on the judging table no later than 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 17, 2026. • Once chili is placed on the table for judging, nothing may be added or altered. Participants are asked to follow all rules closely to avoid disqualification. If you have any questions regarding the MLK Chili Cook-Off rules or participation details, please contact the BCCPB office at 432-332-5812.

1 event,Land and Likeness With Logos Now up in the gallery, Land and Likeness! Land and Likeness brings together four artists from the Permian Basin. UTPB Alum Catherine Allen, Odessa College Art instructor Daniel Sorensen, Midland College Art instructor Michael Hubbard, and rancher/painter Alice Leese. This exhibition examines each artist’s engagement with landscape and portraiture, addressing the physical geography of the region alongside the psychological dimensions of identity. It will be up until April 9th with a reception on March 5th from 5 - 7 PM. Visiting hours: Monday - Friday 9 am - 6 pm Saturday 2 pm - 5 pm |
