Considered to be the “perfect” musical comedy, Guys and Dolls opened on the Broadway stage in 1950 and has had several revivals and a movie adaptation starring Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando. Set in a mythical New York City, Nathan, a gambler tries to find the cash to set up the biggest craps game in town while his night club performer girlfriend, Adelaide, laments that they’ve been engaged for fourteen years with no end in sight. A fellow smooth-talking gambler, Sky, ends up chasing a strait-laced missionary, Sarah, on a bet.
