The Phyllis and Bob Cowan Performing Arts Series presents Animaniacs: In Concert! Join the leading voice-cast of Animaniacs - the iconic animated Warner Bros series created and produced by Steven Spielberg - for a “zany, animany and totally insaney” evening as they perform the world-famous songs from the beloved cartoon TV series (backed by video projections from the equally world-famous animations). Headlining this year's Fest is Chicago-based, Guy King along with five other performers that will be featured, including an encore performance by Eddie Austin & The Review. For a complete line-up of performers, go to tallcitybluesfest.com. In perfect fashion with the blues, this year’s Tall City Blues Fest will be held at the The Destination's Old Lumberyard located at 1705 W. Industrial in Midland. The Old Lumberyard is formerly a lumberyard long ago abandoned, but since repurposed and revamped with a juke joint vibe to be one of Midland’s coolest, most eclectic outdoor venues, accented with gems of days gone past. Gates will open at 4 PM and first performance starts at 5 PM. This year's Fest will also host a food truck court, a vendor marketplace and artist booths.
